A fun filled day with new learning and understanding being made and old ones being tested

Language: The students started with summative assessment for narrative writing for term 2. The task is set and the students have started putting in their imagination and writing skills to test.

Maths: We tried interpreting the data represented through pie chart by answering questions related to pie chart.

Math – Learners practiced the Array method.

U O I – Learners   revised three classes of Levers , then they did a worksheet for the same and saw some slides of compound machines and how simple machines have been used to make compound machines. They self checked the worksheet.

Language –  Learners revised dialogues ,thoughts ,feelings and actions.

Learners were explained about the nature camp code of conduct and things to be brought kindly check the blog as well.

Homework –

Do the hindi /gujarati homework.

Students started the Summative assessment for Narrative, Descriptive writing.

Rules of creating a graph were explained and discussed in the class.

Highlights:

1.UOI:

Inspirational quotes were read in the class and student had to identify the name of the particular person. Thereafter a video was shown on the influential speech of Malala:

Students were further divided into groups and were asked to research on the questions assigned to them and make a creative presentation be it in form of  Poetry/Song/Drama/Powtoon/Prezi/Cartoon strip/online poster/online collage etc.The presentation will be done by the students in the coming slot on the research conducted.

2.Language:

Learners attempted summative assessment task by writing a narrative writing story. The task was defined in the Chapter Stranded from Empowering English book.

3.Math :

Data handling cycle was revised in the class and a problem was given to each group comprising of 4 students and the remaining 4 steps need to be carried on by them and present it individually and as a group using manipulative.

Homework:

Do ensure to complete all your single subject homework without any excuse.
