Day 4, Monday

UOI: Teacher explained the Summative Assessment task to the kids.

Math: Learners practiced few multiplication sums using Lattice method.

Language: The poem ” My cousin Fred” from Empowering English was done in class. Later, teacher discussed the question answers.

Homework:

Math: Solve the following sums using Lattice method: (Refer CW book)
a) 87 x 65      b) 22 x 44       c) 51 x 32     d) 192 x 15      e) 227 x 17    

Language: Write the answers of “My Cousin Fred” as discussed in class in your lang notebook.

U.O.I:

The students watched videos related to certain human actions which affect the marine life after which the students have reflected orally and a classroom discussion was held based on their understanding.

Y-box practice was done.

Homework:

Language:

Students have to complete the exercise on Opposites and Unscramble the words on Pg. 4 of The Magic Finger Workbook.

The homework has been discussed in class.

UOI:

  • The third LOI of the Unit- Our Responsibility towards other living beings was discussed and a PPT on different sanctuaries and National parks was shown.
  • An article was read by the teacher about different reasons of animals being endangered. Students underlined important facts from the article and a mind map was made in the UOI notebook.

Math:

  • Learners practiced array making in the notebook.
  • Y Box practice was done.
