Inquiry : Learners continued from the last inquiry session where in they read and saw the video on read aloud of ‘Elephant never forgets’ and ‘Stellaluna’ respectively.  Today, they made a Venn diagram on the character of Elephant and Stellaluna. They summed to understand that every person deals with the struggles and success differently.
Language : The group tasks at the end of the chapter ‘ The Bat, the Bramble and the Cormorant’ were discussed in the class and the learners answered the questions in their Language notebook.

Highlights
Language: The tasks at the end of the chapter ‘ The Bat, the Bramble and the Cormorant’ were discussed in the class after which the students started answering them in their Language notebook.
UOI: The homework worksheet ‘Things change’ was discussed. Later teacher read out a letter ‘They Tell Me I’m Going Through Puberty’, which helped students understand that changes occur in both boys and girls during puberty and it is normal.
Later students were given the article “What’s happening to me?”, which they read individually and discussed their thoughts on the same in pairs, after which a class discussion was taken on what is puberty and why do the changes happen. This discussion catered to the line of inquiry – Different changes that we experience during puberty and the key concept Change.
Students were also introduced with the idea of using their doodle diary to express their feelings and how expressing in this diary can help them express their thoughts and how they feel about these changes.
Then, teacher showed  videos for an overall understanding of puberty in boys and girls, what are hormones and how hormones work and also how the Reproductive system works. A class discussion was taken on the videos shown keeping in mind the learner profile Open minded and the attitude Respect. Doubts of the students were catered during this discussion.

TDT explorations- Students identified the focused aspects of TDT
Today we took our first dip in the unit as far as content is concerned and we introduced them to some common changes which both the boys and girls will go through by reading them a letter titled -‘They tell me I am going through puberty’. Furthermore, we read an informative article about why do they undergo puberty stage and what is its importance in maintaining the life cycle of different living beings. Also, we discussed that how puberty is initiated through release of hormones by the pituitary gland and respective sexual glands of male and female reproductive system.
Math- Discussion of formative assessment was done. We, as a class, finalized the questions of the survey form of Grade 6 Last day Party.
Students selected their portfolio piece and wrote the comments.

Maths: Today the students got in groups and started with the 1st step of survey of brainstorming about the various aspects of their survey about last day party of grade 6 where they are to decide the preference of their batch-mates. They came up with various aspects such as theme, dress code, food etc.
