Grade 12 Hindi Final IO ( HL and SL both )

Dear parents and students,
This is to inform that Final Individual Oral for Grade 12 Hindi ( HL and SL both) will be scheduled on 11 February and 25 February ( both Saturdays).
It will be based on option topic ( custom and tradition, Leisure). Details are already given to students.

Slots will be assigned to students. They have to come by their own and it will take 40 minutes. They can come before 15 minutes of their assigned slot.

Take a note that It is Final IBDP submission. So absence in the assigned slot will not be entertained. Orals will be conducted only on these 2 days.
In case of doubts, ask through Daily Diary.

Fill the google form shared yesterday on email

UOI: The boys need to read from pages 1 to 38 from Just for Boys and the girls need to read from Page 1 to 42.

Any inquires while reading need to written in a slip of paper and got to school tomorrow.

Maths: Draw a pie chart and make the table containing the observation, fraction, percentage and degree for the below data.

Construct a pie chart to show the distribution of 100 Indians visiting various country.

UOI- We discussed about the reproductive system of both girls and boys. Students also read the book ‘Just for girls/boys.’ Students cleared their doubts.

Lang- We played games to enhance students’ communication skills.

Homework:

Highlights and homework – Day 1 – January 17th

UOI : Learners completed the worksheet about changes in boys and girls. They saw a brainpop video on reproductive system. They read chapters related to reproductive organs from their reader Just for Boys and Just for Girls and further took up the discussions. Taking their inquiry further, learners saw two videos to understand pregnancy and periods, took up discussion thereafter.

Language : Learners were informed about assessment criteria for debate and given the task.  The class was divided into 4 groups for the debate and the format of the same was discussed with them, after which they were given their topics.

Then, they played a game to enhance their Rebuttal and quick thinking skills. In this game, the students divided themselves into pairs. one student made a statement (on any topic) and the pair had to reply to the statement by saying ‘I couldn’t disagree more’ and then give a reason why.  They also played the game to enhance their memory. In this game, the students formed the group and started with the statement ‘My name is _____ and If i were to rule to the world I would_____’ Next one will repeat the earlier students line and add his or her line. The game will continue till everyone gets to speak.

[Highlight Of The Day]

Language

  • A rich discussion was taken up in the class on a few meaningful and abstract topics from the Page no. 83 of Empowering English textbook. Students first jotted down points individually which were later put up on a chart for class discussion. The topics discussed were ‘Real vs Mechanical’, ‘Comfort zone’ and ‘Love and habit’. This helped students conduct meaningful discussions and develop their thinking skills.
  • We, as a class, discussed the question-answers of the chapter”Two dogs on the moon”

Math

  • Learners tried to learned means of interpreting a given data in order to arrive at a conclusion.
