In this week, we started with the new sub-unit, ‘Structure of DNA.’ The structure along with the four bases of DNA was discussed. Students drew the structure in their notebook. After that the difference between DNA and RNA was discussed. Then, the semiconservative nature of DNA was emphasised. In order, to amplify DNA, PCR was discussed. Lastly, the activity where students made the DNA using origami was performed.
