In this cycle, we completed the last unit ‘ human influences on ecosystem, hence the syllabus of Biology is over. The revision for respiratory has been started in which a brief discussion on the unit followed by the worksheet was done.

Language: The students started Poetry unit yesterday and we discussed about different type of poems. Today, the students revisited their understanding of Similes and identified non-example of similes and deepened their understanding of identifying and using the Similes.
UOI: A separate session for girls and boys was conducted regarding the hygiene routine they need to observe on day to day basis when they hit puberty. Other queries regarding puberty and pubertal changes were resolved.
UOI: A worksheet containing graphs related to pubertal changes in girls and boys have been shared with students, which contain question to interpret the graphs, needs to be solved.
The girls need to read Just for Girls from Page: 43 to 50 Ã‚Â and boys need to read Just For Boys from Page : 39 to 56.
Read the given article (both sides) and staple it in your notebook.Ã‚Â Write 5 important take away from each article and write in their UOI notebook/paper.

This cycle students learnt about ‘Human Tooth’ in the Unit Animal Nutrition, in this they learnt about different types of human tooth and the longitudinal section of an incisor tooth. They also studied about dental decay and gum diseases.
We also performed experiment “Testing a leaf for starch” during the COSP slot.

U O I Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Teacher did a read aloud focusing on the TDT and LOIs as well as made connections with the Key concepts while reading the book Ã¢â‚¬Å“Common Ground Ã¢â‚¬Â by Molly Bang. Later as a class, students came up with the key concepts connected to the read aloud and justified their choice. They also came up with the LOI’s for the unit.
