Peer assessment of Musical

Peer assessment of Musical

Dear parents,

Grade 7 students have worked upon 2-3 different scenes of the Musical play  and now it’s time to look back and observe what they did, how they did and what are the things which they need to work upon to make the show successful.

Students have been provided or will be provided with the YouTube link https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0Yna4g2Yc2vN6-_cFNt4XP5x-ITzU3j2 to support their peer assessment.  This link has audio/ visual recording of one of the Arts classes. To find your child’s section (Insight) videos kindly refer to the video number 00065- 00070 only.

The peer assessment will be done based on the guiding  questions provided by the teacher and students will answer those questions in their peer’s Performing Arts journal. After going through the peer’s assessment notes, students will be given 10-15 minutes to think about the action plan to improve upon their overall performance and record  it in the journal.

You may watch the video with your child and help him/her by suggesting improvements as an audience. I am sure,  your input will help your child to prepare an action plan for the areas of improvement and perform better.

Thank you.
