INFERENCE RIDDLESÃ¢â‚¬â€making your own riddles based on the facts.

Continuing the previous session of Inference riddles, today the learners confidently created their own riddles based on the facts they knew on an A-4 size paper. It was both fun and learning.

1) Sumit arranged the desks in the classroom into 5 equal rows. There were 5 desks in each row. How many desks were arranged?

2) The baker made 5 trays of muffins. Each tray holds 4 muffins. How many muffins did the baker make?

UOI : Students discovered ways to say No.Ã‚Â Later, each student was given a situation in which they had to consider themselves as the main character and had to make an informed choice so as to take an appropriate action.

Learners continued to read the article Ã¢â‚¬Å“By Popular Demand.Ã¢â‚¬Â They discussed benefits and pitfalls of being popular and the middle ground to balance themselves.

Language: Learners were introduced to Poetry writing. Ã‚Â Students heard the music and drew what they imagined in the printed boxes of the worksheet.Ã‚Â After each drawing they wrote a short sentence about the picture.

Maths : Learners attempted prior knowledge assessment of Ratio and Proportion.

• Think/search for more interesting words and write a prepositional phrase.

UOI: Learners were introduced to the term Ã¢â‚¬Å“Case studyÃ¢â‚¬Â. Ã‚Â Later the teacher took a short discussion on what could be the topic for Case studies related to the unit. Teacher modelled Ã¢â‚¬Å“I DOÃ¢â‚¬Â Ã‚Â part where the Ã‚Â teacher explained how exactly a case study is to be taken up including the 5 aspects of natural resource.

Math :Ã‚Â Summative assessment was taken.

Language:Ã‚Â Dictation was taken.

New words were given (Hope, joined, grew, phrase, nation, laughed, bright, lead, everyone, method, section, lake, Iron, Farm and pulled)

Homework:

Language: 1. Bring advertisements from home which have the following words in it (improved, new, special, best, superior, advanced, latest, premium, luxury and wonderful). If they have other superlatives (words) it does not matter.
