Learners presented their presentations on describing how electricity or other useful forms of energy may be obtained from- chemical energy stored in fuel, water, including the energy stored in waves, in tides, and in water behind hydroelectric dams, geothermal resources, nuclear fission, heat and light from the Sun (solar cells and panels) and wind. They discussed the advantages and disadvantages of each method in terms of reliability, scale and environmental impact.
Later, the teacher explained the points to the class which were not included in the presentations.
In COS practical slot they performed practical to investigate the period of a pendulum.

Grade 11 Economics students will be going for aÃ‚Â fieldÃ‚Â tripÃ‚Â to textile and Chemical factory – Palsana onÃ‚Â 10th February, 2017.
The objective of thisÃ‚Â tripÃ‚Â is to make students aware about how theories work in practical life, how different factors affect decision making, whether the concepts students study is same in real world.
Students will learn about cost of production, economies of scale, advantagesÃ‚Â of large scale production, short-run and long run costs, fixed and variable costs, revenue and profit and link all of these to different types of market structureÃ‚Â and also how is the structure of textile market in Surat.
