Math: The concept of addition of fractions was revised by solving a few sums.

Language:Ã‚Â Chapter 12 of Ã¢â‚¬Å“CharlotteÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s webÃ¢â‚¬Â was read and comprehended.

UOI:Ã‚Â The students were shown a PPT Ã‚Â and Video wherein they guessed the product and the message conveyed. Through this engagement, they came to an understanding that everyone has a different perspective and the same visual can be interpreted differently by all. This lead to our 3rd Line Of Inquiry:Ã‚Â PeopleÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s response to messages.

Homework

UOI:Ã‚Â Collect any 2 Ads or posters that you like (newspapers, magazines, printouts or etc) and on a paper write down, why do these posters appeal to you?
Also, ask your parents or siblings(any 2 people) and note down their views/opinion about these posters on the same paper.

Highlights:

U.O.I: Revision of the elements of Advertisement and thereafter Formative Assessment was taken up.

The students were shown a PPT of visuals without specifying the product it is for wherein they guessed the product and the message conveyed. Through this engagement, they came to an understanding that everyone has a different perspective and the same visual can be interpreted differently by all. This lead to our 3rd Line Of Inquiry:Ã‚Â PeopleÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s response to messages.

Math:

1. The concept of addition of fractions was revised by solving a few sums.
2. The concept of subtraction was introduced through illustrations and then few subtraction sums were also solved.

Homework:

ii) 1/2 + 1/2 =
iii) 2/6 + 3/6 =

Challenge:

Discussion on Ã¢â‚¬Å“gravityÃ¢â‚¬Â and Ã¢â‚¬Å“EarthÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s interior and surfaceÃ¢â‚¬Â was taken through a Google slide and a video.

Language:Ã‚Â

1. An article on ‘Galaxies’ was read and explained in the class. Students were asked to re-read, comprehend and answer the questions related to the same.
2. Students have solved one page of worksheet on Pronouns.

Math:

Students have revised tables of 0 & 1 and have learned tables of 2 and 3.

Audition round of the literary event J-A-M was completed.

Homework:

Language: Students have to revise Pronouns by solving 2 worksheet.

Worksheet 1Ã‚Â (both sides): Students have to fill in the blanks using appropriate pronouns.

UOI: Ã‚Â Ã¢â‚¬Å“SourceÃ¢â‚¬Â (one of the five aspects) was taken up in class where learnersÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ were showed a video. Later, students copied the notes from the board that were made as a class in the given booklet.

Math: Learners enjoyed theÃ‚Â read aloud of the book Ã¢â‚¬Å“Divide and Ride Ã¢â‚¬Â. Later, learners discussed what exactly was happening in the book.
