UOI: How the world works:

  • Students learned about the conditions on earth that support life through a video and Google slides.
  • The students saw one PPT related to our planet Earth and got information about its rotation and revolution.

Math:

1. Students revised the tables of 2 and 3.

2. Students solved a worksheet related to grouping and multiplication facts.

Language:

  1. The final round of the literary event was conducted.
  2. Students revised the topic- contractions.

Homework:

  1. Students have to complete the given worksheet.
  2. Parents make sure that students watch this video.

Math - Learners were introduced to the sign of division and also explained the meaning of it by giving examples.
They also made a story using the math vocabulary of division based on “Carnival visit”.
U O I –  Learners continued with their research work on “Coal” on its management and conservation using articles and chromebooks under teacher’s guidance.
Read aloud session of the book “Safety Puppet Show” was enjoyed by the learners.

 

Homework 

Math – Revise tables 2 to 12 .

Solve the following using any method –

Day 1 – Monday

Math:

The symbol of division along with the concept of dividend,divisor,remainder and quotient was catered in class.

Language:

The paragraph on Piranha was read and the key idea and supporting details were emphasized while discussing the questions and answers.Later, a worksheet on advertisement was done by students.

Note: Reading log and goals will be reviewed tomorrow.

Homework:

Math: Do the homework in the math booklet as explained in class.
Language:
Task 1: Question and Answers to be done in EE itself on page 56 as discussed in class.
 Task 2: Learners need to make the spider gram illustration for “The deadly Piranhas”in their language notebooks.(like what was done in the class for “Trees are important”)

Discussion on “Conditions on Earth that support life” was taken through a Google slide.

Language:

LWE-Week 15-Day 5 and Weekend task was done.

Math:

Students saw videos related to table of 2,3 and 4 and later on copied the same in their notebooks.

Homework:

1. LWE-Complete Week 15- Day 5 and Weekend home task.

2. Math- Students have to solve the given problems using multiplication facts.

Eg: 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 20

5 times 4 = 20

5 X 4 = 20

Math: Read aloud of the book “Divide and Ride” was done and students gave reflection of the same. Learners’ were asked to make their own story about using tickets at a carnival. They were supposed to include the words like leftover, per, share, sets of, and groups of in their story.

Language:  Advertisement worksheet  for clean and green Surat was given to the students.

Homework: 

Math: Do the multiplication sums using partial product method in the given booklet.
