Tuning in activity for the new unit was done in class wherein the demonstration was done in class using a slinky and a structure made from sticks and a cello tape, this can imagined to replicate a bridge. With this, a disturbance was created from one end and learners were made to observe what changes as the disturbance moves. The phenomenon was interesting to observe and the reflection was taken after the demonstration about their observation. Later the term ‘wave’ was introduced to them. This was followed by introducing them to the types of waves.
