Please take a note of the curriculum to be covered in Second  Term Exam of G- 8

(Paper-1 Reading and Writing)Total marks -50

Curriculum:
1.Comprehensions  based on the units-

1-सामाजिक रिश्ते  – 10 marks

2-पर्यावरणीय पर्यटन –  10 marks 

3-खेल –10 marks

2  Questions based on the stories from “sankalp pathmala”

(मोतीलाल के दीये,  शिक्षक से राष्ट्रपति )  -10 marks
4. Para phrasing writing of any story -  10 marks

Paper -2 (Listening)Total marks -20(Any of conversation sample or an audio will be played)

paper style:  (Multiple choice questions (MCQ),one line answers, Fill

Dear Parents and students,

ईकाई -५  “खेल” (Sports)के  अंतर्गत  हमने जीवन में खेलों के महत्त्व पर चर्चा की  । विद्यार्थियों से उनके पसंदीदा खेलों के बारे में पूछा गया तथा विद्यार्थियों ने अपने पसंदीदा खिलाड़ी के जीवन से जुड़ी कुछ ख़ास बातों पर  पावर पॉइंट प्रेजेंटेशन बनाया ।

ईकाई -५  “खेल” शुरू करने का  उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में खेलों के प्रति रुचि जगाना ,खेलो से होने वाले फ़ायदे बताना तथा खेल किस तरह व्यक्ति के शारीरिक व मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को बनाये रखने में मदद करता है,इस बारे में जानकारी देना था।  साथ ही भारत व विश्व में खेले जाने वाले विभिन्न खेलों व खेल से जुड़े प्रसिद्ध खिलाड़ियों से परिचित करवाना था । 

ईकाई परीक्षा – ५ के अंक बताये गए ।

Here’s what we did:

  1. We started new topic ‘Patterns’. Students learned how to investigate patterns. By investigating patterns, they were able to construct an equation and solve. Students did exercise sums in the class. Doubts were catered and made clear to them.
  2. Students played Kahoot on Expressions and Equations.
  3. Students did real life data sums related to the Global Context.

Dear Parent,

This week students started with the activity related to our new unit Mensuration where they were divided in the groups and each group had to find the area and number of blocks required to cover the given diagram and also the perimeter of the diagram. This gave a general warm up opening exercise for our new unit. we then proceeded with the unit by exploring areas of different 2D shapes as well as difference between 2D and 3D shapes.

Exercise 6.7 and 6.8 was completed to give students a general idea about how to calculate area of the given figure excluding area of circle. we then shifted our focus to area and circumference of circle and completed exercise 6.1 and exercise 6.2

Here are the few glimpses of the activity conducted in the class.
