Homework:

Get the exhibition contract signed by your parents.

Write the cyclic reflection keeping in mind the following points:

~ Recollect the sessions taken in the class in this cycle

~ Write what did you learn from those engagements.

~ Include LP, attitude or Skills, whenever required.

~ Any Aha! or OHO! moments.

~ Anything that you felt proud about, like cooperating with team,etc. or something that you would like to start working fom next cycle for better outcomes.

~ Your experiences, opinions, events or challenges that you faced and overcome it.

~ Your thoughts and feelings.

Ensure to complete your single subject Homework without fail.

Day 6 

Highlights

PYP Exhibition : Learners envisaged the demonstration of IB Attitude during PYP exhibition. Through the ‘Bus Stop’ activity, they moved around the 12 tables (each table containing a sheet with one attitude written) and noted down their response for below two questions in the graphic organizer T-Chart.

  • 1st part- How will you demonstrate?
  • 2nd Part- what will be the result? (How will it help in exhibition)

Later one student from each pair read aloud 2-3 points which were mentioned in the sheet and a class discussion was taken on the same.

Then, students wrote cyclic reflection in their exhibition journal for all they have done in the first cycle of PYP exhibition unit. They wrote about the learning engagements, their major learning through them, their feelings and thoughts about PYP exhibition and what were the challenges they had faced in the first cycle. Later, they assessed their reflection with the help of a reflection checklist where several criteria were listed, and pasted the sheet in their notebook.

Math: Students revised the previously learnt content about ratio and proportion and then gave a formative assessment which had word problems on fractions, ratios and proportion.

Homework:

UOI: Select a portfolio piece for ‘How we express ourselves’ and ‘Puberty’ and write a comment for the same in your reflection notebook. (Ignore if completed).

Get the exhibition contract signed by your parents.

Bring all the resources required for the Life map tomorrow without fail.

વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ વાર્તાનો વિડીઓ જોઇને એ વાર્તાના ચિત્રો અને ચિત્ર અનુસાર આપેલા વાક્યો વાંચીને વાર્તાને ઘટનાક્રમ મુજબ ગોઠવ્યા.

Homework:

નીચે આપેલી link પરથી વાર્તા વાંચો અને વાર્તાના મુખ્ય પાત્ર(main character) વિષે તમારા માતાપિતાને કહો.

Day 6-Highlights of the day!! (1st March, 2017)

Language:

  • Dictation was conducted.
  • Students framed questions of 5 Ws (What,When,Where,Which,Who and Why) and H (How) through a passage and noted them in the worksheet.

Math:

  • The students solved word problems on multiplication using area model in the notebook.

ICT:

The students researched about their queries related to ‘Space’ and made a PPT for the same using google slides.
