The outfit for the drama and wiggles are:
For boys: Red Tshirt with blue jeans/pants
For girls: Red top with blue shorts/skirt

The remaining sections of Grade 2 (Invent, Ponder, Explore and Create) have their Assembly scheduled on 3rd March, Friday and the students of Grade 2-ExploreÃ‚Â are going to perform a wiggle “Let’s Star Jump!” .
The outfit for the same is:
For boys: Red shirt/T-shirt with blueÃ‚Â jeans/pants
For girls: Red top with blue flared skirt/jeans
The students will come to the school dressed up in the above mentioned attire. ( Make-up is not required)
PS: Kindly do not forget to send the school uniform for the change.

Hello all,

In this cycle, we continued with the unit of Genetics, where the subunit ‘Meiosis’ was completed. After that the next sub-unit ‘Inheritance’ was started. Students learned about dominant and recessive traits, co-dominance, genetic diseases and in which conditions different diseases are expressed.

ICT: Learners were introduced to Code Studio. Later learners played the course 2 stage 3 activities on chromebooks.

UOI: Learners did few activities and reflected on the same to tune into the new unit.

ICT: Practice activities of Course 2 Stage 4 from Code Studio (teacher has explained about what is to be done in the class)

U.O.I:

End of the unit (Space)Ã‚Â reflection was taken through a worksheet to check for their enduring understanding of the unit.

Language:

Dictation was conducted.

Math:

The teacher revised the concept of multiplication through word problems using area model and traditional method(vertical sums).

Day 1 (02/03/2017)

Math:

• Revision of simple multiplication word problems was done orally.
• Students have solved multiplication regrouping sums (Area model as well as traditional method)

U.O.I:

Reflection of tuning in activities for the new unit was taken through discussion and worksheet.

ICT: Ã‚Â Students were given practice to read text from the short story “A Forest Picnic” and type in a document file on chrome books (so as to speed up their typing skills with minimum errors.).

Practice for assembly performance was done.

Homework:

Math: Students have to solve the given worksheet on multiplication and grid.

ICT: Ã‚Â Students have to complete typing the story “A Forest Picnic” in the same document file which they have saved in their drives in class.

Reflection of the tuning in activity of the new unit was done.

Highlights:-

UOI:-

Students created a timeline of their life which included information about their identity, their most cherished memories with family, their likes and dislikes, traditions and rituals followed in their families, their aspirations etc. Students stuck photographs which represented some of the major events in their life.

Math:-

Students learned how to divide a quantity when a ratio of parts is given and practiced some questions on it. Later, they visually compared the sizes of different states with one another and then computed the actual ratio once they got to know about the area of the states.

Homework:-

– Who were they looking for? – What clue did they get? – What calculation they did in order to find him? -Were they able to find the man they were looking for?
