Highlights and homework – 3rd March’17

Highlights:

PYP Exhibition

Students watched a play on a life of a girl named ‘Kavya’ who shared the memories of her life, like information about her family, loved ones, her mentor, teacher, her dreams, her identity, traditions followed in her family etc. But then all her memories were taken away from her by snatching the life maps created by students and she was left clueless about her identity. Students could empathize with the main character by grieving the loss of their memories in the form of photographs and the charts made by them. The drama was followed by a speech on the importance of Indian history and how it has been shaping the world around us, how it has given an identity to the residents of the nation and how important is history to a nation’s identity.
