Leap activity

Leap activity

In the last two LEAP cycle, Grade 1 students got an opportunity to  enhance their communication skill through story writing. They already had knowledge about story elements and it’s importance. Based on that they tried to develop the attitude creativity by framing and illustrating their own story.Teacher made this activity a bit challenging by giving them characters, setting and problem and by asking students to think about the solution of the problem and create their own story. Initially they needed some guidance but gradually they used their thinking skills to find out a solution for the problem. As this activity was done in pairs,  they also developed social skills like cooperating and respecting others.
