Language- We completed discussing the chapter-Indian Vampire Stories. Phrasal verbs of pick and drop were also discussed.

UOI- Learners were introduced to the scientific method and Hypothesis was explained in detail. The following video was used for the same:

Students revised the tables with the teacher and then solved multiplication word problems using Area model and traditional method.

ICT:

To enhance the typing skill, the students were provided with an opportunity to type the story ‘The Bad Company‘ creating a new Google Document on Drive.

Homework:

Students will solve the following word problems in their math notebook:

1. Maria has 8 T-shirts and each t-shirt has 12 buttons. How many buttons are there on all the T-shirts?
2. There are 48 toffees in a jar. How many toffees are there in 6 such jars?
• Revise and learn the tables from 2 to 10 on a regular basis.

Highlights:

Maths: Students attempted summative assessment of ratio and proportion.

PYP Exhibition: The students participated in the bus stop activity where each bus stop had a few pictures depicting different aspects of culture. After exploring, the students individually segregated the pictures under different aspects of culture. Having done that, they did the same activity of segregating the pictures, as a group. This gave them an insight that some pictures could be a part of one or more aspect which made them understand the inter-connectedness of culture.

Homework:

Language: Students will take notes for each paragraph and then write the summary of ‘A Fishy Tale’ by Jerome K.Jerome, Ã‚Â from the chapter Tall Tales from Empowering English Page no. 35. The students will do the homework in their Language and EE notebook.
