Maths:

• Formative Assessment was conducted on multiplication facts.

UOI:

• Library slot: To enhance our understanding on migration, we had our school librarian as a guest speaker. The session helped students to connect with the challenges that one faces during migration and also the reasons behind why people migrate.
• Students were read aloud a book ‘Mukand and Riaz’ written by Nina Sabnani in the context of mass migrations that takes place due to war. This book further led the discussion towards the reasons behind the partition of India and Pakistan. The students were then shown a partial video on the Personal migration history of Mahatma Gandhi which will be continued in the coming session.
• LWE: Week 18,day 4 was done.

Students will solve the following sums and word problems in the notebook:

b. 99 X 9

c. 86 X 4

• Mihir wants to buy a toy of Rs.89. If he buys 7 toys, how many rupees Ã‚Â will he spend in all?
• A mint factory puts 12 mints in each box. How many mints will the factory need to fill 9 boxes?

U O I – Learners read the article on Muscular system and shared the facts and their learning about the muscular system which they had found out.
Language – Learners enjoyed doing anÃ‚Â activity where they played a touch Ã‚Â game ofÃ‚Â  “guess the objects”. Students paired up to play this game. They had to use simile while describing and the partner has to guess it.Later learners did choral reading of the poem “The Blind men and the elephant”.
Math – Learners were explained (3 digit by 2 digit) division sums .

Teacher modeled 3/1 division sum on the board using long division method. Later learnersÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ solved few sums independently.

Language:

Task 1: Teacher framedÃ‚Â few sentences using opposites as Ã¢â‚¬Å“I DoÃ¢â‚¬Â part. Later learnersÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ were asked to frame five sentences in their language notebook as Ã¢â‚¬Å“You DoÃ¢â‚¬Â part.

Task 2: Learners did a picture composition from their LWE book in which they framed a story based on the picture.

UOI: Learners watched a video about muscular system.
