UOI

Learners watched a video and read an article on Circulatory system.

MATH

Learners solved word problems of 3 by 2 digit division sums (with and without remainders).

Language

The concept of Ã¢â‚¬ËœDebateÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ was introduced in the class. Learners were tuned in to the word Ã¢â‚¬ËœDebate.

MATH

Solve the following word problems:

a) Teacher places 55 books on a shelf. Each shelf holds 9 books. How many shelves does the teacher fill? How many books will remain?

b) Shreya has 28 pencils. She shares them among her 5 friends. How many pencils will each friend get? How many pencils will remain with her?

Language:

Students prepared Draft 2 after revising on the basis of teacher feedback. They then used CUPS strategy to edit their work.

Math:

• Students revised the concept of Framing Good questions for conducting survey wherein they practised making Dichotomous, Multiple Choice and Continuum Questions.
• Students revised the 3-D shapes done earlier and were introduced to new 3-D shapes along with their properties.

UOI:

Students watched videos on the ‘Story of Migration of Mahatma Gandhi’ and ‘the partition of India and Pakistan’, which helped them understand that it was the worldÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s largest mass migration and had its own implications.

Homework:

Math notebook:

1. Formulate Dichotomous, Multiple Choice and Continuum questions on the topic Ã¢â‚¬ËœHomeworkÃ¢â‚¬â„¢.
2. Find the product:

a. 99 X 5

b. 58 X 4

3. Write 3 examples of real life objects of the following 3D shapes:

Triangular based pyramid, Square based pyramid and Prism.
