The students published their narrative pieces after  feedback from the teacher.

Students were introduced to the nomenclature of basic geometrical polygons.

  1. Those who have not completed the publishing of narrative writing will do so.
  2.  Students have to find the synonyms of the following words: sad, unhappy, angry, stressed, tense, lonely, worried, emotional.

Math: Answer the following questions referring the polygon worksheet given :

1. How many sides does an octagon have?
2. How many sides does a pentagon have?
4. Which has more sides: a hexagon or a pentagon?
NOTE: Come prepared for your business Fair tomorrow with the necessary resources as decided by your group.

Student will finish writing the publishing piece on the “The sad day of my life” in their Language EE notebook. (Kindly visit the feedback given and then write)

Math – Learners solved word problems of 3 by 2 digit division sums (with and without remainders).
Language –  Learners  read Chapter 20 “Our Space Trip With The Aliens”  and discussed the question and answers.
 U O I –  Learners attempted a formative assessment on the circulatory system..
HOMEWORK - 
Math -Solve the following word problem:
a) Krish has 935 cards. There are 54 cards in each deck(a set of cards is called deck). How many decks does he have? How many cards are left?

b) Create a word problem using the division fact 63 / 7.

U O  I – Do the  worksheet.
 Language - Write question no.1  in the Empowering English and question no. 2 in notebook as explained in class (page number 71)

  • The students need to frame questions on the topic “Facilities of Fountainhead school” in their math notebook.
  • Word problems:

1.We had 7 recycling bins. There were 37 bottles in each. How many bottles did we have?

2. I baked 15 cakes. I put 8 candles on each cake. How many candles did I use?

3. Solve the following sums:

a. 85 x 3    b. 96 x 4

Math: Learners solved Division word problems. Teacher took a detailed revision of all the things done till now in Division.

Language: Teacher read and explained the chapter ‘ Our Space Trip With The Aliens’. Later learners did the exercise related to the chapter.

Homework:

Math: Solve the following division word problems:
a) If 375 kg of wheat is packed in 15 bags, how much wheat will each bag contain?
b) Jiana has 216 flowers. She wants to put 6 flowers in each pot. How many pots will she need?
c) In kalautsav, students had 108 displays. There were 12 displays in each row. How many rows of displays were there?
d) Create a word problem using division fact 56 / 8.
