[Highlight Of The Day]

UOI: TheÃ‚Â students conducted the Business Fair, which was a great learning experience and a big hit! After the fair, they spent time counting the money earned. The money will be given to them on Monday . The students will first take back the invested amount and the remaining shall be divided equally amongstÃ‚Â  their group members.

[Homework]

Language:Ã‚Â Students have to complete their narrative piece on the topic Ã¢â‚¬Å“A sad day of my lifeÃ¢â‚¬Â by following the writing process (Prewriting, Drafting, Revisiting, Editing and Publishing) in their Language Writing notebook.

Math:Ã‚Â A)Students have to solve the following in their Math notebook:

a) Aashka had 24 beads. 6 were yellow, 6 were orange, 5 were red, and 7 were purple. What fraction of her beads were red ?

b)Riansh collects sports cards. He has six baseball cards, three football cards, four hockey cards, and three basketball cards. What fraction of his sports cards are hockey cards? Make sure you reduce the fraction to its lowest terms.

c)A train arrives at the station with 150 passengers on board. 2/5 of the passengers get off the train in Bombay. How many passengers are still in the train ?

d) If Raj ate 5/12 of a pie and Rahul ate 2/5 of a pie, find out who ate more pie and by what fraction?

B) Simplify the following:

1. 36/50
2. 85/90
3. 54/72
4. 24/108

Note: Students have to revise the tables till 12. ThereÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ll be a dodging test on Monday.

Students have to make a presentation on their experience of Ã¢â‚¬ËœBusiness FairÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ using Ã¢â‚¬ËœGoogle SlidesÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ and share it with their HRT.

There should be minimum 4 slides including the following:

• A key learning from the business fair
• Skills and subskills applied during the business fair (mention how and where you applied them)
• Two things that you liked the most during the process of planning and conducting the business fair.
• Two things that you could have done in a Ã‚Â better way.

A kind request:Ã¢â‚¬â€œ Please write down the investment details of your child (done for business fair) on a paper and sign it. Send it along with them on Monday, so their money can be returned accordingly.

Dictation was conducted.Ã‚Â Demonstration passage’ from Empowering English was read.

Learners solved word problems of 3 by 2 digit division sums (with and without remainders).

UOI

Learners did an activity which was integrated with PE. They learnt about Circulatory system and the flow of blood in their body. Later learners watched a video related to the system and understood its functioning.
