Highlights and Homework – 4th July, 2017

Day 5 – Tuesday


The students read the poem ‘My Name Is’ given in  chapter 19 of Empowering English and understood that  Nonsense poems are unusual and funny. They tried to create their own nonsense poem.

Learners attempted for the formative assessment.

Math: The students were taken to the Bridge area and were instructed to work in pairs. They were engaged in an activity ‘How Far Can You Go?’ to better conceptualize length units.Further discussions in the class helped students understand that distances can also be measured using the standard unit.

UOI: The students watched a video on the Skeletal system. 


Language: Complete the given worksheet.
