Language: Students were tuned into the new learning of the figure of speech “Alliteration” through the engagement of tongue twister.
Math: Students were introduced to ‘Perimeter’ through hands on activities/worksheet.
Math:Students need to solve the following sums in their maths notebook:
a) Find the perimeter of the square whose length is 12 cm.
b) Find the perimeter of the rectangle whose length is 3 m and breadth is 2 m.
c) Find the perimeter of the square whose length is 18 m.
d) Draw a rectangle whose length is 4 cm and breadth is 6 cm. Also, find its perimeter.
e) The maximum capacity of the water filter is 4 l. If 2 l 700 ml of water is already there in the filter, how much more water can the filter hold?
f) A shampoo bottle contains 500 ml of shampoo in it. What is the volume of shampoo in 12 such bottles?
g) Find the perimeter of your Math notebook

As a part of our on-going unit we have planned a picnic to a farm house on Monday, 18th September 2017. The students have to reach Vanita Vishram ground (Opp. Mahavir Cardiac Hospital) by 7 :30 am. Parents are requested to hand over the child to the HRT and leave immediately.
Also make a note, parents have to pick up their kids from VANITA VISHRAM GROUND at 1:00 pm sharp.Request you to be on time.
1. Students have to come in full uniform along with their I-cards.
2. Kindly send lunch box with a heavy meal and water bottle.(Friday food policy will be followed).
3. Send one extra pair of clothes and an outdoor game or a toy in their bag. Please label all the belongings.

a) The maximum capacity of the water filter is 4 l. If 2 l 700 ml of water is already there in the filter, how much more water can the filter hold?
b) Mamta drinks 4 l water everyday. On a specific day, she drank 378 ml more water. What is the total volume of water she drank on that day? Give your answer in ml.
c) A shampoo bottle contains 500 ml of shampoo in it. What is the volume of shampoo in 12 such bottles?
d) A company received 36454 applications for a singing competition, out of which 12908 applications were shortlisted. How many applications were rejected?
e) Find the perimeter of your Math notebook
Students have to create two alliterative sentences and write in their Language E.E notebook.

The 2nd chapter – Off to the Enchanted Wood was read to the students followed by Popcorn reading.

In the given A4 sheet illustrate the Enchanted wood(the enchanted tree) .
The top of the tree goes right up to the clouds, and at the top of it is a strange land. The strange land can be visited by climbing up to the topmost branch of the tree, then going up using a little ladder through a hole in the big cloud. While illustrating the strange land you may choose one from the Rocking Land/ Birthday Land/ Land of Take-What-You-Want/ Land of the Snowman. Also, illustrate a fairy called Silky with a mop of silky golden hair, a funny old man whose name is Mister Watzisname and an old deaf Saucepan Man covered with kettles and saucepans living on the tree. You may also include Moon Face with his slippery slip, a slide that goes right down the inside of the tree from the top to the bottom.
You can be as creative as you can in your imagination.
