UOI: Learners discussed child rights. They also learned with rights comes responsibility.
UOI: Learners were also shown the video clip from the movie Black to understand the struggles faced by the child who was blind, dumb and deaf. They were informed the scene was similar to the life experience of ‘Helen Keller.’ To actually understand the struggles, learners moved around the class using one leg, experienced writing without using hands, picking up the books with using hands, identifying the place and move around keeping their eyes closed. They learned that it is important to be empathetic towards Specially Challenged children without hurting their dignity.
Language: Learners attempted formative assessment for figures of speech ‘Simile’ and comprehension of the poem.
