Dear Parents,
We arrange career fairs for students/parents of Grade 10, 11, 12 where they can interact with the representatives of the Universities from different countries. The purpose of this fair is to give interested students/parents an opportunity to interact with the University representatives directly and ask the relevant questions about admission requirements, selection process, scholarships etc.
This year we are opening this fair for the parents of Grade 7-9 as well considering that the students might not be clear about what to pursue and from where but parents will have some idea about it. This interaction will help you in understanding the requirements of the universities in general.
Schedule for the day:
There will be stalls for participating universities where you can meet the representatives and can ask specific questions related to the courses the university is offering or any other detail about the university. We are expecting one representative per university from the following institutions. Ecole Hotelier and FLAME university might also join as we are waiting for their confirmation.
You may want to browse the websites of these universities beforehand and prepare questions accordingly. The representatives will be handing out information material/handouts about the courses and benefits of studying in their universities. Surely, it will be an informative and valuable session.
Parents who are really interested in sending their kids to these universities for further education or if they just want to meet university representatives to get some information are strongly recommended to attend the fair with prior information (send an email at career.counselor@fountainheadschools.org).

Venue: Stall set up by Universities – Hippodrome
Time: 11.20 am to 1 pm

Dear parent,
Students explored different art forms of different cultures (Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali). During the exploration process they learned about forms, techniques, designs, colors and traditional ways of creating artworks. They were curious and enthusiastic to know about the art forms of different culture.
Math – Practice exercises assigned to you on Khan academy.
Language – Write a hyperbole poem on your favourite topic.

Book review of November will be taken tomorrow.

Students were tuned into the unit How we express ourselves (Culture unit) by making them explore different art forms of different culture. They learned about folk dances of culture they were exploring in their class. (Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali) Here are the glimpses of the dance class.
Dear parent,
Students explored 2D and 3D shapes during the Visual art integration with the math strand shape and space. They learned to draw 3D shapes such as cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder and sphere, followed with enhancing their coloring skills by coloring the same. Through this activity, they enhanced their understanding of the properties (edges, vertices and faces) of 3D shapes.
Students explored human stick figures under the TDT “Who we are”. Through the activity of creating stick figure with the use of match sticks and drawing the same they understood the importance of each line in drawing a stick figure. They enjoyed the activity and here are the glimpse of the same.

We are pleased to invite the students to participate in the Visual Art Inter house Competition, which is organised on 16th December 2017. The Inter House competition is a platform where students can explore and express their creativity.
Students can use the media:
Grade 1-2-3: Crayon, Oil pastel and Sketch pen.
Grade 4 : Pencil colour and Oil pastel
Grade 5-6 : Poster colour and Watercolour

Interested students need to fill up the google form link, given below.
The deadline to fill the form is 11th December 2017.
Transport route will be declared two days earlier to the competition.
