Students visited different work stations and solved the tasks which involved different manipulatives like fraction wheel, jodo blocks and also ICT links to practice equivalent fractions.

UOI: 

Students prepared for the Media – summative assessment task in their respective groups.

Homework:

Students will practice the following sums in their math notebook:

1.) Students have to simplify the given fractions and write whether they are equivalent or not:
a) 4/12 and 3/9
b) 24/36 and 18/27
c) 42/88 and 36/74
d) 35/65 and 40/52

2.) Find the 3 equivalent fractions of the following:

a) 5/6

b) 8/12

c) 7/14

d) 3/5

Science Trivia is Tomorrow!

It’s tomorrow! Hope you all are ready for the first round (Selection Round) of Science Trivia.

Kindly find the details for the event below.

  • It is an Inter-House event.
  • All the students will take part in the Selection Round which will be held on January 10, 2018– D4 (HRM slot) in your respective classes.
  • Four best scoring students of round 1 from each grade of each house will represent their house during the Final Round, to be held on February 6, 2018.
  • Selection round will have a Multiple Choice Question based paper quiz.
  • Responses to the questions are to be marked in the OMR sheet that will be given separately to each learner.
  • Grade 7 and Grade 8 will compete for the quiz separately.
  • The questions will be of Sciences and will be of appropriate age level, they might be of curriculum or beyond the curriculum.
