  • 12 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 34 tablespoon baking soda
  • 14 tablespoon salt
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 34 cup buttermilk
  • 4 ounces butter (1 ounce = 2 Tablespoon)

 

Use the data: Complete each sentence about the recipe.

  1. This recipe makes _________ servings.
  2. There are _______ ingredients to make this recipe.

To make this garlic bread you will need:

  1. What is the total fraction of salt and baking soda in the recipe?
  2. If the recipe takes ½ an hour to be ready, how much time it will take if I am preparing it twice?
  3. What is used more: garlic powder or baking soda?
  4. Write  3 different fractions which are equivalent to 15/18?
  5. Arrange the given ingredients from the least used to the most used(ascending order): baking soda, garlic powder, and sugar.

  • Students were introduced to Graph paper and how to use it. Teacher role modelled the creation of a Bar Graph using Graph paper and students were given a hands-on experience as well.

  • Math: Represent the recorded data in the graph paper given. (Refer today’s classwork)

Language: Dictation was conducted. Chapter 14 of Magic Faraway Tree was read and explained.

Math: Students were introduced to Graph paper and how to use it. Teacher role modeled the creation of a Bar Graph using Graph paper and students were given a hands-on experience as well.

Homework:

Complete both the worksheets.

Math: Make a bar-graph using PS data collected in the class.

Revise the terms: Natural resources, limited, unlimited, renewable, non-renewable resources.
