Q. What is the big idea and common connection between all the centers?

(Summarize your understanding of the exploration in 6-7 sentences.)

2. Complete the cyclic reflection and blob worksheet, if pending.

3. Update portfolio pieces, if pending.

4. Answer the following questions from ‘Holes’, in your Language notebook. Remember to answer in complete sentences.

  1. What does Stanley gain when he agrees to help X-Ray? What does he lose?
  2. Were you surprised to discover that the Warden is a woman? What else do you find out about the Warden in this chapter?
  3. Do you think Zigzag and the other campers are correct in believing that the Warden is always watching them, or are they just being paranoid?
  4. Can you think of some reasons why Zero might not be familiar with any nursery rhymes or the show Sesame Street?
  5. What does Stanley find out about Zigzag in this chapter?

5. Read Chapters 18 to 21 of ‘Holes’. Answer the following questions, in your Language notebook. Remember to answer in complete sentences.

Language:

  • Introduction of ‘ue’ digraph was done.
  • Dictation of ‘ue’ digraph words.

 

UOI:  

  • TDT- Sharing the Planet.
  • Central Idea- Animals adapt to survive in their natural habitat.
  • Tuning in was done through:

             ~Read Aloud

             ~Gallery walk.

             ~Visit to KG Farm.

Homework:

  • Language:Write the following ‘ue’ words (2 times) in the notebook:

cue, barbecue, value,rescue,fuel,tissue,statue.

  • Math: Number fly book page nos- 59 and 74

 

Important points :

  • Please note that the library books will be issued on Monday and ensure that you return the books on time.
  • Every Wednesday is a fruit day.
  • Kindly ensure revision of taught concepts in Math.
  • Kindly ensure daily revision of tricky words (reading and writing).
  • Kindly conduct at least one read aloud everyday.
