Learners in a group made a presentation to present their understanding of the unit – Natural Resources as a Summative Assessment task..

Math:

Formative Assessment was conducted.

Language:

The 17th chapter – ‘Rick gets everyone into trouble’ of the reader ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’  was read followed by an oral discussion where students were asked to justify the name of the chapter and support their answer with reason.

Homework:

Answer the following questions in your Language notebook:

  1. Joe had a good idea of taking some of the lovely goodies back with them and everyone agreed. What goodies did they think of bringing with them and for whom?
  2. Why were Angry Pixie, Dame Washalot and Whatzisname yelling and climbed up the tree to give a scolding?
  3. Who got the terrible scolding and why? How did he save himself from the scolding?

Math: Learners were introduced to measurement and constructions of angles. Later, they practised the same.

Language: Learners continued the practice of narrative writing and completed publishing the piece.

UOI: In order to understand ‘demand and supply,’ learners explored the related concept – needs, wants, goods and services.

Math: Complete the measurement worksheet provided yesterday.

Language:

  1. Week 17 Day 5 (Complete the oral part with your parents/siblings)
  2. Complete the writing piece started in the class (if incomplete)

  • Students presented their research findings in the form of an exhibition with great enthusiasm. They were courageous and reflective throughout their presentation.They did a lot of hard work, KUDOS to everyone who put the event together.
  • Learners concluded the unit with their self-evaluation and they pen down the end of unit reflection.
