Students worked on their summative assessment task.
Division sums were practiced.
a) Joe had a good idea of taking some of the lovely goodies back with them and everyone agreed. What goodies did they think of bringing with them and for whom?
b) Why were Angry Pixie, Dame Washalot, and Whatzisname yelling and climbed up the tree to give a scolding?
c) Who got the terrible scolding and why? How did he save himself from the scolding?
Math: Solve the following sums and find the remainder if any:

b) 86 ÷ 7
c) 21 ÷ 2
d) 47 ÷ 6
e) 69 ÷ 2
f) 95 ÷ 5
Unit Of Inquiry:
Prior knowledge of the students about the terms ‘Needs, Wants, Goods, Services, Production and Consumption’ was assessed through the bus stop activity.
Later, students constructed the meaning of these terms through classroom discussion and read aloud of the book “Who’s buying, Who’s Selling”.
Students have to publish their story for the theme ‘Celebration’ after reading feedback given for the revising/editing stage in their Language Writing notebook.
Students have to revise the definitions of the geometrical terms: point, line, ray, line-segment, angles and its types, and polygons by going through the handouts given to them.

Note: Students have been given their portfolio. Parents have to see the evidence of the Math and UOI SA and send the portfolio back tomorrow.
