UOI: Learners unpacked the central idea – Economic activities relies on the system of production, exchange and consumption of goods and services. They revised the understanding of goods and services through the video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wy0TrDCiqLw. Further they understood economic activities  through the video – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3YIfGLafmc Later, they listened to the read aloud of the book “Who’s buying and who’s selling? by Jennifer Larson. They concluded the session with the understanding about related concepts – production, consumption, goods and services, interdependence and money.

Math: measurement and construction of angles was revised through homework checking.

Homework:

Language: Write the incorrect words from dictation 5 times. Read the correct ones 3 times in your mind. Dictation for the same words will be taken again on Monday.

You need to narrate your experience of annual performance in your writing notebook (Read the blog – Weekend homework – Cycle 29) for the criteria.

UOI: HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES

  • Students made personal connections with the related concept -Interdependence and reflected their understanding on where do they see interdependence in Fountainhead School.

Language:

  • Students completed their pre-writing and drafting of the story.
  • Read aloud was done.

Math:

  • Students practiced the Long Division method of Division and rounding off tens,hundreds and thousands value in a number.
  • Formative assessment was conducted.
  • Students formed different types of survey questions related to the topic chosen by them in UOI.

  • Complete the worksheets given.

Unit Of Inquiry:

  • Students started with the individual research on different places of their choice.

Language:

  • Dictation was given.
  • Students enhanced their listening, reading and speaking skills by enacting the story ‘Going by Plane” followed by few activities related to the same.
  • Descriptive Writing – Students described  “A Beach” using senses by following the steps of writing.
  • FA was taken on poem comprehension.

Math:

  • Learners practiced regrouping of 2 digits and 3 digits subtraction through different manipulatives and solved the sums
