Day 2, Friday

Math: Learners solved a worksheet related to rotational and reflective symmetry.

Language: Reflection of Reader was taken.

UOI: Summative assessment task and rubric was explained to the students.

  • PYP portfolio work was done.

Homework:

UOI: Complete the Summative assessment task. They will present on Monday. (Refer the blog posted on 10th April.)

Complete the given worksheets. (Submit on Tuesday.)

Note: The students of Grade 4 have organized a Business Fair in the school on 16th April. The students will be visiting the business fair. Hence, they can bring maximum Rs.100 on the day if they choose to purchase anything.

Revision of the rhymes done till date.

 

Math:

  • Revision of addition.
  • Summative assessment was taken for the same.
  • Revision of number names and days of the week was done.

 

Language:

 

  • Revision of all the digraphs done till date.
  • Revision of all the tricky words done till date.

 

Homework:

 

  • Language: Worksheet.
  • Math: Math workbook pg no. 55 and 64.

 

Important points :

 

  • Kindly send swimming costume, towel and an extra pair of underwear for pool time.
  • Every Wednesday is a fruit day.
  • Kindly ensure revision of taught concepts in Math.
  • Kindly ensure daily revision of tricky words (reading and writing).
  • Kindly conduct at least one read aloud everyday.

Language

  • Students used their linguistic skills and observations in the fun learning zone with a challenging Newspaper game wherein they created a dictionary of more than 100 words for the class.

Math

  • Learners disported themselves with brain teasers in Maths.

Homework

  • Complete the following doc in your EE notebook.

Language homework

  • Brainstorm the ideas for lesson plans to be conducted . It’s a good time to demonstrate your creativity  and well enhanced social skills .
  • Get your hard copies ready for the PYP portfolio as discussed in the class.
  • On a sheet of paper, illustrate your grade 5 journey . As we are about to call the curtain for Grade 5 academic year, let us revise what are we taking along (do attach your picture on the same).
