Day 3 – Tuesday.
Math: Students practiced forming 5 digit numbers using number flashcards and writing number names along with some set of numbers in sequence. The mathematical concept of the predecessor and successor was revised with 5 digit numbers.
Language: The session was led by the teacher where students understood the difference between Prose and Poetry.
A. Write the following set of numbers in sequence:
a) 10,170 to 10,179
b) 10,997 to 11,006
c) 14,456 to 14,465
d) 20,318 to 20,327
B. Write the number names of the following numbers:
C. Sia has gone to the bank to deposit Rs. 67,809. She has to fill in the deposit slip. Can you help her to write the number in words?
D. Raman goes to a bike dealer to buy a bike for himself. The cost of the bike is Rs. 45,735. Can you help Raman write the amount in words so that he can make the payment through cheque?
E. Seventy seven thousand five hundred and fifty six apples are produced on a farm over the course of three years. Write this number in standard form.
