Time for Action!

Time for Action!

Students of Grade 4 – Freedom were Inquiring into “Risk, Challenges and opportunities faced by children worldwide” they have initiated an action to eliminate illiteracy in our society. They are currently running a campaign to educate underprivileged children.

Educate India

Students are collecting donations from students and teachers to support underprivileged children in their journey to gain better access to education.

  • We urge you to donate any of the following items:
  • School bags
  • Books (Read aloud, notebooks and etc)
  • Stationery (pencil case, pencils, pen, rulers, geometry box and etc)
  • Shoes
  • Old clothes or uniform.
  • Money

These donations will be then handed over to few identified organizations that work with underprivileged children.

Each contribution goes a long way.

P.S: Labelled boxes will be kept in the Grade 4 wing where you can drop the donations accordingly.

(In- case you are donating money- seal it in an envelope and hand it over to the HRT of grade 4 Freedom- Fatema Topiwala).

Workshop for Early Years Parents

Workshop for Early Years Parents

Dear Parents,

We’re delighted to invite our Early Years parents for a ‘Parent Workshop’ at Fountainhead School. Parenting is indeed a challenging job and therefore it is important for parents to spend some time to know and understand some basic principles and strategies of parenting which might help them to play this role more effectively and efficiently.This session will be led by  Ms.Ankita Diwekar Kabra along with the school counsellors. The workshop will include topics like: how to manage discipline at home, how to be an effective parent etc.

Apart from this, some time will also be spent on topics like- circle time in class, strategies for Language & Math curriculum so that you can help the child at home too. We highly recommend  the parents to attend this workshop so as to support their child’s over all growth and development.

The details are as follows:

Sr.KG 1st September, Saturday. 9:30 am to 11: 30am Y- box

Important points to be noted:

  • The curriculum part is not applicable to Nursery parents therefore they can leave by 12:30 pm.
  • 31st August is a regular working day for the entire Early Years so students will come and leave at regular timings. Parents are requested not to visit the classrooms.
  • Kindly carry the parent pass along with you for the event.
