Language: Students visited few areas of the school and described them. They were thereby tuned into descriptive writing.

Math: Students learned to represent the data using a bar graph and the double bar graph.

Homework –

Math –  Write tables 2 to 12 for revision.

Language – 

A-Students have to describe their bedroom in a paragraph (8-10 lines).Criteria: 6-10 descriptive adjectives, 3 strong verbs, and at least 1 adverb. (in writer’s notebook)

B-Viewing and Presenting

Observe the hoarding given below and answer the following questions.

  1. What is the creator trying to achieve through this?
  2. How can we make it better (Give suggestions)?

Language: Learners practised determining importance for the article related to media.

Grade 7 Interdisciplinary Unit Exhibition

Dear Parents

Grade 7 students had an enriching experience of interdisciplinary learning during their current unit of study based on the United Nations, Sustainable Development Goals.

During this unit, students worked on solving a multitude of challenges around them, ranging from improving the school infrastructure to eradicating poverty. Working alongside these challenges, the students are contributing their bit towards achieving these goals.

The culminating activity for this unit is an Exhibition which is an endeavour to empower the students to share their learning with their parents.

You are cordially invited to witness and encourage their thinking and efforts.

You are planning to open a ‘Pizza Corner’ in your society’s shopping complex.

You want to collect and analyze data before making the decision. Make survey questions keeping the following points in mind.

  1. You want to know about whether the people living in your society prefer eating pizza or not
  2. You also want to know about their preferences in terms of toppings that they prefer eating.
  3. You are inquisitive to know how the filling is it during hunger.
  4. Knowing that Pizza has less nutritional value, you want to know why would people still prefer eating Pizza over healthy food.
