Day 4 Tuesday

Math:

  • Students collected the data and represented in the form of a bar graph.
  • Students solved multiplication sums (3 X 2) using area model method.

ICT: 

  • Students learned the importance of having a strong password for their email id. Later they followed the steps as role modeled by the teacher and replaced their old passwords into a strong one.

Language:

  • The 22nd chapter – ‘Watzisname has some strange news’ of the reader ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’  was read.

  • Students solved multiplication sums (2 X 2) using area model method.

UOI:

  • Students learnt about Fossil Fuels and how we get it from the nature through video and later discussion was carried on the same.

Homework:

3.) Raman has 6.75 kg coffee. He wants 0.25 kg bags. How many bags does he need?

Moving further in the unit, students understood what might happen to the amount of resources if they are overused. They understood that we have to make choices to conserve natural resources.

c) Two bikers are riding a circular path. The first rider completes a round in 12 minutes. The second rider completes a round in 18 minutes. If they both started at the same place and time and go in the same direction, after how many minutes will they meet again at the starting point?
