Circle Time:

Revision of the rhymes.

Introduction of new rhyme:

The little Green frog

A little green frog once jumped in a pool

The sun was hot and the water was cool

He jumped in the pool the whole long,

Singing his dear little ,queer little song …

Quaggrery, Quaggrery, Quaggrery dee,

No one was ever as happy as he!

 

Phonological Awareness :

  • Activities related to Listening skills were conducted.

 

Closing circle:

Story:  Gajapati Kulapati

 

Read aloud:

  • Read aloud from Class library.

Math:

  • Revision of concepts done so far.
  • Learning centres

Language:

  • Revision of blending.
  • Tricky words done through game.
  • Picture composition
  • Alphabet game.

Central idea: Stories are told in a variety of ways for different purposes.

Revision of different mediums through stories are told.

DAY & NIGHT  (FINGER PLAY)

This little fellow is ready for bed,

Down on the pillow he lays his head.

Pulls the cover, snug & tight,

           (close fingers)

And this is the way he sleeps all night.

               (close eyes)

Morning comes and he opens his eyes,

              (open eyes)

Quickly he pushes the cover aside.

            (open fingers)

Jumps out of bed, puts on his clothes,

 (let opposites hand dress fingers)

And this is the way to school he goes.

             (walk fingers up arm)

Student were tuned into new body system i.e respiratory system in PE through different activities.
