Registration for Hindi IGCSE Examination

Dear Parents,

The school has registered  the students for CIE IGCSE Hindi (Subject code: 0549) March Examination session. The dates for the examinations are:

 

Hindi reading and writing examination  25th February 2016
Hindi listening examination 2nd March 2016

For this, we request you to send a cheque amounting to Rs. 4,888.55/- (In words: Four thousand eight hundred and eighty eight rupees and fifty paise) in favor of  Fountainhead Education Trust latest by 10th December 2015. The Hindi examination registration fees is GBP 49.10 for the March examination session. Exchange Rate : 01 GBP = Rs. 99.52 (As on 3rd December 2015). The cheques need to be handed over to the respective mentor teachers.

Please note that we will also schedule Mock exams for the students in the first week of February.

PS:  In case of exchange rate fluctuations, the parents will be solely responsible for any gains or losses. Any adjustment to this effect will be made through the  imprest amount of the student. The exchange rate will be applicable as on the date of remittance to CIE by the school.

Dear Parents,

We have scheduled and IGCSE Orientation session for Grade 8 parents on 28th November – 07:45 am to 09.30 am.

It is recommended for all parents to attend this session.

We will focus on the highlights of the IGCSE curriculum and  the subject choices offered during the session.

Instructions for students for Term 1 examinations

Instructions for students for Term 1 examinations

Dear Students,

Please adhere to the following instructions during the Term 1 Examinations.

  1. Students are expected to report (05 minutes before the start of the examination) at the examination venue.
  2. Students are not expected to talk or create any disturbance during the conduct of the examination.
  3. Students are allowed to bring water bottles inside the room.
  4. Students are expected to carry their own stationery. Borrowing of stationery during examination is not allowed.
  5. Students are expected to check their pockets & pencil boxes for any extra academic related paper/s. Strict action (which includes denial of right to appear for the subsequent examinations) will be taken against student/s who are found carrying any material other than what is required.
  6. Students who do not have any examination are not expected to come to school.
  7. Students who are free in between two examinations (on same day) are expected to be seated at the following venues – Senior Library, Amphitheater and Story Well.
  8. Students are permitted to use their chromebooks in Senior library only.
  9. Students are not allowed to play or go to the grounds, after the examination is over. Students who do so, will have to face consequences.
  10. The students have to sit in the examination hall for at least 60 percent time of the total duration of the paper. For eg. if the duration of the paper is 1 hour, the students are expected to sit in the examination hall for at least 36 minutes. They can then leave the examination hall if they have finished writing the paper.

ICT examinations will be held in their own respective classes. Please bring your chromebooks for the ICT exam. Examination for all other subjects will happen in the venues given in the table above.
