Dear Parent,

On 1st April 2019, Monday, we have two major events. Kindly find the details for both the events below:

Event 1: Bring Your Own Chromebook

As you are aware that we, at Fountainhead have a 1:1 computing device program starting from Grade 5. We cordially invite you for the orientation session scheduled on 1st April, 2019. During this session you will be given a brief introduction about the purpose and intent of this program along with a few initiatives on technology at FS. We highly recommend your presence for this session.

Details are as given below:

Date/Day: 1st April 2019, Monday
Time: 8:00 to 9:00 am
Venue: Hippodrome

Event 2: Student Led Conference

Grade 4 students are all set to take ownership and share their learning about Fractions. Students have put a lot of efforts and are ready to showcase their understanding. They have demonstrated being knowledgeable and inquirer through their unit. Let the spirit of our learners be alive through your participation in this event. Please make a note that your attendance is compulsory as you will have to evaluate your child’s performance, which is a part of the summative assessment report.

Venue Your ward’s classroom
Timings 9:30 am to 10:15 am
Important Note Parents are requested to be present in the respective  classes by 9:20 am sharp, as an orientation will be done before you assess your child’s presentation. Kindly ensure you leave the school premises by 10:30 a.m. sharp.

 

Note: Kindly adhere to the timings mentioned. Your presence will be a great boost up for your child. We strongly recommend carpooling for the occasion.

Math : Students learnt conversion of mixed numbers into improper fraction and vise versa. Later, they practiced the same.

TASK 1 

Choose anyone video to revisit the improper fractions.

TASK 2 

Solve the following in math homework book

  1. Convert the improper fraction into mixed number : 25/7
  2. Reorder the fractions into ascending order : 3/7, 8/21 and 13/28
  3. Reorder the fractions into descending order : 5/9, 3/11 and 5/8
  4. Subtract : 5/15 and 3/6

UOI :  Students have to carry a product to school. The products shall not be electronic, expensive or fragile and should be as per the school policy. For eg. Colorful pens, soap, color boxes, books etc.
