We will be celebrating Navratri in school on 16th October 2018, Tuesday. Kindly dress up children in traditional attire and ensure that you send an extra pair of clothes/uniform to change after the celebration.
As a part of Janmashtami celebration, Jr KG is going to celebrate Janmashtami on Monday, 3rd September 2018. We request you to send your child in traditional clothes. For eg: kurta with pyjama or denims, simple salwar kameez (without any embroidery) or simple frock. Kindly ensure that the students dress modestly and should not apply any make up or put on any jewellery/ accessories/ tattoos etc.
We request you to send one steel bowl ,steel plate, steel spoon and steel glass for your child which will be used in cooking activities throughout the year. Kindly note that these resources will be kept in the class throughout out the year and will be returned at the end of the year.
Important note- Kindly make sure that the vessels are engraved with the child’s name and section so as to avoid any kind of confusion.
We have already discussed the Reading Magic module during PTM which we will be initiating from December; however, for the convenience of both the parents as well as the teachers we have decided to tweak the module.
Hence from 6th August, we will be adhering to the following procedure:
We will be sending a set of 3 books every Monday which is to be returned by Friday.
Parents can repeat these 3 books throughout the week.
Parents need to maintain the reading log which will be sent with the child along with the books. Parent has to list down the names of books read to the child as per the dates. The log will remain with the parent for the entire month and will have to be returned at month ends or submit it between 1st five days of the next month.
The child who reads maximum number of books will be appreciated at the end of each month through the Daily Diary.
The books which are not returned by parents even after reminders will be considered as lost and an acknowledgement will be sent by the library team at the end of the month and the amount will be deducted from student imprest deposit.
However, here we would like to reiterate and seek cooperation from parents to return the books timely and meticulously follow the procedure mentioned.
Kindly note, we have created these set of books after curating them minutely. Many books which are being sent are unavailable in the market now. Hence we would want the parents and students to be responsible towards the books.
Parents can read books of their choice. Books in mother tongue are also encouraged.
With the arrival of monsoon, there is one constant question that our little ones keep asking, “When will we have our rain dance?”
Yes, Rain Dance is one of the many events that we at FS eagerly wait for.
To relish the rain dance kindly send an extra pair of uniform along with undergarments and a towel (big size) by Thursday. Kindly label the belongings to avoid misplacement or exchange. These will be kept in class until the Rain Dance.
As we approach towards the culmination of this year, it’s time to make some sweet memories. We would like to end this journey with a “Crispy snack bite” for our lovely kids. So moms get on your toes, as the POTLUCK is due on 24th April, Tuesday. Kindly open the below link to see the menu and quantity and send food item accordingly.
Congratulations to Priyansh, Jiana, Kashvi, Azael, Ishi, Ayaan, Mantra, Viha, Maadhav and Hryday for getting on to the “Wall of fame”. We appreciate and acknowledge the parents for meticulously following the reading oath.
