Dear parents,

We are foraying into a new initiative of having a Fruit Break on every Wednesday. This starts from the coming Wednesday(20/12/17). Please send only fruits on that day instead of the regular meal as home meal tiffin. You may send a whole fruit we will cut them in the class.

This initiative has been taken to inculcate the healthy habit of eating fruits.

Dear parents,

This is to inform you that from today the Jr.KG and Sr.KG classes have shifted to Block 3 and 4 of the school (ground floor). This relocation is done because in few months the Early years wing will be under renovation. The kids were escorted by the teachers and class didis to their new classrooms where they’re going to be for the rest of this academic session. So please make a note of the same.

Dear Parent,

As you are aware,we are following the ‘Reading Magic’ module since the month of July. We are going to continue the same throughout the year. However, for the convenience of both the parents as well as the teachers we have decided to tweak the module.

Hence from August onwards, we will be adhering to the following procedure:

  • Instead of sending one book everyday, we will be sending a set of 5 books every Monday which will remain with the child for the week.
  • Parents  need to maintain the reading log which will be sent with the child along with the books. The parent has to list down the names of books read to the child as per the dates. The log will remain  with the parent for the entire month and  will have to be  returned at  month end. The child who is read to for the maximum number of days will be appreciated at the end of each month through the ‘Wall Of Fame’.
  • The books which are lost/not returned by parents even after  reminders will be considered as lost and an  acknowledgement will be sent by the library team at the end of the month.
  • However, here we would like to reiterate and seek cooperation from parents to return  the books  timely and meticulously  follow the procedure mentioned.
  • Kindly note, we have created these book sets after  curating them minutely. Many books which are being sent are unavailable  in the market now. Hence we would want the parents along with the students to be responsible towards  the books.
  • Parents can use any book for read aloud during  the weekends.

And lastly, let us renew our reading oath again:

I will read with my child,

I will read with a smile.

I will read 20 minutes each day,

I will read to show him the way!

Looking forward to your cooperation!

Regards,

EY  Team
