Annual Performance

Dear Parents,

You are cordially invited  for the annual performance ‘Bliss’ on 12 Feb 2019.  

Time: 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

Venue: Y-Box.

Few points to be noted for the the performance are as follows:

Learners need to come dressed up for the annual performance.

Dress code for students:- White t-shirt/ kurta/shirt and black bottom wear. 

Students need to carry their uniform to change after the performance.

Note: For students in Mime, they need to wear a black T-shirt while performing. 

Learners need to revise the scripts and be well prepared.

Kindly send tiffin box and avoid sending coupons for tomorrow.

Grade 4 Upcoming Literary Event: Poetry Recitation

Dear parents,

It’s time for our students to pull up their socks as we are soon going to have our first literary event ‘Poetry Recitation’ as a part of the Poetry unit. This will be an inter-house event.

The first round (i.e audition round) will happen on 29th October so kindly prepare your child for the same. The poetry could be a self-created or taken up from any resource keeping the age level in mind.

Criteria on which the students will be assessed are as follows:

  1. Fluency
  2. Gestures
  3. Pronunciation
  4. Memorization
  5. Posture and eye contact
  6. Audibility
  7. Relevance/level of the poem chosen

UOI: Learners were introduced to the summative assessment task. They were further made familiar to the rubrics of assessment. Later, they finalised the project they would like to work on.

Math: Students learned to interpret the graph using the data collected by them over weekends. They were also able to conclude the same.

Homework:

UOI: Research about the project chosen by you. Arrange for the materials you need to bring from home.
