One cold Saturday, Maria decided to bake some cake for her family and some of their neighbors.

  1. For her family, she baked one big chocolate cake with caramel frosting. If her brother ate 5/12 of the cake, how much is left for the rest of the family to eat?
  2. Maria also baked a mocha flavored cake for her best friends. She divided it into 10 slices. If she gave 4 slices to Jeevisha and 5 slices to Arham, what fraction of the cake did she give away?
  3. She then made 3 whole carrot cakes for their elderly neighbors. Each carrot cake was sliced into 8. She gave 7 slices from one cake to Mrs. Shah who lives next door, how much does Maria have left?
  4. She also made 33/12 servings of strawberry cheesecake for her Aunt Lina. If her cousin Charmi 7/12 ate servings, how many servings of cheesecake are left?

Use the data: Complete each sentence about the recipe.

To make this garlic bread you will need:
