• Students made personal connections with the related concept -Interdependence and reflected their understanding on where do they see interdependence in Fountainhead School.

Language:

• Students completed their pre-writing and drafting of the story.

Math:

• Students practiced the Long Division method of Division and rounding off tens,hundreds and thousands value in a number.
• Formative assessment was conducted.
• Students formed different types of survey questions related to the topic chosen by them in UOI.

• The 20th chapter – ‘The Land of Magic Medicines’ of the reader ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ was read followed by an oral discussion.

UOI: HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES

• Students discussed the related concept ‘Purpose’ in various context. They made personal connections on thinking what is the purpose of whatever they are doing in their life. Later, they also discussed about the purpose of an organisation – Fountainhead school. They could come up with variety of purposes like roles and responsibilities, freedom, to earn money, educating people, to become a better human being etc.

• Solve the worksheet given.

• The 18th chapter – ‘A Surprising Visitor’ of the reader ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’  was read followed by oral discussion.

• a) Why had the old lady` who lived in the Shoe House decided to live in the Moon-Face’s house?
• b) What changes did she make in the Moon-Face’s house?
• c) Did Moon-Face like the changes the old lady had made in his house? Would you like if some outsider comes and make changes in your room without your permission and why?

• Students edited their story using the tools – ARMS and CUPS.
