Dear Parents,

On Saturday, 14th October being the last day of the school before the Diwali Vacation, we are planning to have a Pot Luck Party on that day.

Sr.KG Blaze students have to bring Banana chips.

Kindly send food enough to share with 10 kids.

 

Kindly note that the students will come in the School Uniform for the Pot Luck Party.

Dear parents,

As a part of our current unit – Events, students are planning and organizing an event- ‘Halloween Party’ on Thursday – 7th September, 2017. They are planning to set up 3 different corners, food, games and photo booth during the event.

As this is a Halloween party, the students can dress up as any character or in a scary costume (Superman, Batman, vampire, monster, princess, witch, Cinderella, cat, etc.).The students will need help while arranging the resources like the outfit for the character, food, and dressing up. Kindly cooperate and help them in planning and execution by sending the allotted food items and other necessary items.

 

  • Dress code for the event is – Halloween Costume
  • Kindly send school uniform for change after the event.
  • On that day, students need not carry the first meal(tiffin).
  • Students will dress up in Halloween costume from home itself.

Circle time:

Revision of the rhymes done till date.

Phonological Awareness :

  • Various phonological awareness activities were done.
  • Segmenting: Teacher helped the students to chop the given word as per the  sounds.

Read aloud:

Read alouds from the Sr. KG monthly read aloud list.

 

MATH:

  • Introduction of ascending order through numbers (1-25)
  • Revision of concept ‘seriation’ from small to big objects through learning centers.
  • Revision of tens and ones through learning centers.
  • Revision of after/before numbers, greater/less than numbers, middle numbers through learning centers and worksheets.

 

LANGUAGE:

  • Blending of CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant).
  • Revision of blending through learning centers.
  • Dictation was taken of tricky words.

 

UOI :

TDT : Who we are.

Central Idea : Choices people make affect their health and well being.

Summative assessment was conducted.

 

HOMEWORK:

  • Kindly send a raincoat every day.
  • Kindly give  practice for  dictation of tricky words (are, all, you, your, come, some, said, here, there, they) as dictation  of the same  will be given in the class, during next week.
  • Kindly ensure revision of  taught concepts in Math.
  • Kindly conduct read alouds every day.
  • Give writing practice of alphabets (lowercase and uppercase).
  • Give writing practice for the taught number names (One to Ten only).

Dear Parents,

Today we are sending Reading magic log. Kindly remove it from your child’s bag and keep it at home. As discussed in PTM, you need to record name of the book you have read to your child. Behind it there is a weekend log too, wherein you have to write the name of the book which is read to your child. 

We are sending a book which is to be read,kindly make sure that the book is returned the very next day.
