Language: Students created a poem following the first two steps of Writing Process (brainstorming and drafting).

Math: Students practiced finding HCF. Later, they were introduced to the term ‘Least Common Multiple’ through a group activity.

1)Priya just bought 1 package of 21 erasers. She also bought 1 package of 30 pencils. She wants to use all the erasers and pencils to create identical sets of office supplies for her classmates. What is the greatest number of identical sets that Priya can make using all the erasers?

वाचन और लेखन कार्य : निम्नलिखित “सच्ची शिक्षा” अनुच्छेद को पढ़कर प्रश्न और उत्तर नोटबुक में लिखिए |

‘सच्ची शिक्षा’

किसी जंगल में एक आश्रम था | उसमें एक गुरूजी अपने शिष्यों को विविध प्रकार की शिक्षा देते थे | आश्रम में पढ़ने-लिखने या शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के लिए दूर-दूर से बालक आते थे | उस आश्रम में जुगल नाम का एक बालक भी था | वह बालक अत्यंत शरारती था | वह अक्सर आश्रम के नन्हे पेड़-पौधों को हानि पहुँचाता रहता | गुरूजी ने उसे कई बार समझाया था कि पेड़-पौधे भी हमारी तरह सजीव होते हैं, इसलिए इन्हें हानि पहुँचाना अच्छी बात नहीं है | परंतु जुगल गुरूजी की बात को अनसुना कर देता था | एक बार जुगल को तेज़ बुखार आया | गुरूजी ने उसे तुलसी की पत्तियों का काढ़ा पिलाया, तो उसका बुखार उतर गया | तब गुरूजी जुगल से बोले – देखो बेटा, तुलसी के उपकार से ही तुम इतनी जल्दी स्वस्थ हुए हो | तुम्हें पौधों को हानि पहुँचाना नहीं चाहिए और उनकी रक्षा करनी चाहिए | जुगल पौधों का महत्व समझ गया और उसने अधिक पेड़-पौधे उगाने का निश्चय कर लिया |
